Thankgiving Tour-de-Kansas, Cooper Style

The Topeka Coopers performed their traditional Thanksgiving holiday Tour-de-Kansas. Thursday, we enjoyed a traditional (you should expect nothing else!!) dining experience at Sharla's sister's house. Wilcox's, Summers, Coopers and even a spare Wegeng presided over a dandy meal. As always, there's nothing quite like a nap following a feast.

We stayed the evening in Hutchinson at the in-laws. And it was on to Hoxie on Friday. Sharla, Keesha and I stopped in Hays to pick up some Bar-B-Qutie to take to mom and dad. I think it's fair to say that mom really enjoyed the ribs. Pappy enjoyed all but the highlight to him was the Burbon Brownies. He even passed along a little advice: "Remember Keesha, if given a choice between a corner or a middle, always take the corner!"

Afterwards, those three wild women forced me to make them a batch of hot chocolate with Butter Shots schnopps.
